When you trust Palmer & Co with your window cleaning, high level access or building maintenance requirements, you know that you are getting the most cost-effective solution without any compromise on risk or safety. We are extremely proud of our safety record and we work hard to maintain it. It’s not about box ticking for us. There are very real risks with the at-height work that we do and it’s imperative that we are keeping our people and the public safe. As well as carrying out site surveys to establish methodology and know what we’re doing before we arrive on site, we check every piece of equipment and operative kit.

Our operatives are fully equipped. Our machinery and kit is well maintained. Our team are properly kitted out. We follow risk management processes that keep everyone safe, and files in order. We are also fully insured though we take steps to make sure we never need to call upon it. All of our drivers and operatives follow a detailed and ongoing training programme from the minute they join us until the day they leave.  We create a health and safety pack for every job we do, which includes the site-specific risk assessment(s), method statements, training certificates, equipment inspections records and COSHH. On site, all operatives are reminded of the health and safety requirements.
